Exploring Identity
Students looked at identity by creating a self-portrait using a scratching technique. This workshop helped the students to understand how Gilbert Stuart studied facial details when making portraits of people in the 1700's. Ms. Lambert, art teacher from Davisville Middle School, coached the students to look at the qualities of a face when making self-portraits.
